Dangote Commits $50 Billion to Africa’s Industrialisation

Aliko Dangote has announced a $50 billion commitment linked to industrialisation across Africa.

The announcement comes as African countries seek more investment in manufacturing and infrastructure.

Dangote has investments in sectors including oil refining, cement and other industries across the continent.

The latest commitment was reported by The Guardian on September 30.

Large-scale industrial investments can affect jobs, supply chains and local production.

The announcement also comes as Dangote continues to expand his group’s projects beyond Nigeria.
