Diamond Jubilee: Provost lauds FG on Infrastructure

The Provost, Federal College of Education, Yola, Prof. Abdul-Mumin Sa’ad has lauded the Federal Government for its efforts in upgrading infrastructure in the College.

The Provost in a message, on Thursday in Yola, congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on Nigeria’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration.

Sa’ad said that the reconstruction of major roads and water drainages and provision of befitting complex at the campus of the college was a welcomed development.

He emphasised that the provision of functional education with basic infrastructure, conducive for teaching and learning  was key to the success of any independent state.

The Provost called for a continuous peaceful coexistence among different ethnic nationalities in Nigeria for a prosperous nation.

While applauding government’s effort in combating COVID-19, he  tasked parents, students and teachers to strictly observe the COVID-19 protocols as schools reopen for academic session in the state.
