Five Nigerian Banks Push Assets Above ₦20tn

Five Nigerian banks recorded combined assets of ₦20.47 trillion in the first half of 2026.

The banks also reported combined profits of ₦338.4 billion.

The figures show continued expansion among major Nigerian financial institutions.

Banks have been strengthening their balance sheets as the country’s financial sector adjusts to changing monetary and economic conditions.
