The Ijebu East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday congratulated the State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye, for their appointments into the Governing Council Board of Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, Akwa Ibom State.
The party hailed President Muhammadu Buhari and Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for honouring the duo of Sanusi and Oladunjoye with the appointments, describing it as an honour well deserved.
Sanusi was appointed as the Chairman of the Board while Oladunjoye was appointed as a member.
A statement by the APC Chairman, Ijebu East Local Government, Otunba Adebayo Balogun, said, “We congratulate our State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, and our leader, Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye, on these appointments.
“In Ijebu East Local Government, we also congratulate ourselves for the feat achieved by Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye, who has consistently remained our shinning light.
“We thank President Muhammadu Buhari and our amiable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for honouring us with this appointment.”
The sattement quoted the Director of Press and Public Relations of the Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Bem Goong, as saying the Chairmen and members of the Council of the affected institutions shall be inaugurated by the Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu at a date to be announced soon.
Other indigenes of Ogun State, who also got appointed into Boards include: Prof. Mrs Temitope Oladiji, member, Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa State, Dr. Osiboye Oluwaseun, member, Federal Polytechnic, Oil and Gas, River state, Osiboye Oluwaseun, member, Federal college of Education, Kastina state and Engineer Olubori, Member, Yaba Technology, Lagos State.
