The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the appointment of Babafemi Raji and Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu as the new media officers of the Super Eagles and the Super Falcons respectively.

Their appointments were contained in a press statement by the Communications Department of the NFF, which was made available to our correspondent on Tuesday.

Raji takes over from Toyin Ibitoye, while Tobe-Chukwu takes over from Jane Nweze.

Raji, a staff of Brila FM, was a member of the 2010 World Cup Media Committee, while Tobe-Chukwu, a journalist as well, is also a former footballer, and previously played for Hamza Queens, Flaming Flamingos and Ibom Angels.

“Mr Ibitoye and Miss Nweze were superb to work with. They demonstrated excellent people skills and acuity, and were diligent, energetic and knowledgeable. We wish them the very best in their endeavours going forward,” the statement quoted NFF’s Director of Media and Communications, Ademola Olajire.
