An Activist, Mr Davour Pam, has advised youths in Nigeria to put aside their individual differences and unite toward a prosperous and progressive nation.
Pam, a professional architect, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Jos, in commemoration of the Nigeria’s 60th Independent Anniversary.
According him, the youth who are the pillars of the nation must work together for its growth and development.
The activist, who noted that at 60, Nigeria had recorded huge successes, however, decried that the challenges that stares the nation needs a united citizenry to surmount them.
“The successes recorded within the 60 years of our nationhood are numerous, while the challenges which accompany these successes also stares us in the face.
“The theme of this year’s 60th anniversary 60 `Together’ is a reminder to us that, if there is a time when unity of purpose matters in our nation, it is indeed now.
“While we have yet to reach the promised land, we can boldly say that with unity of purpose, resilience and hardwork, we will definitely get there someday.
“So, I call on the youth to rally together in our quest to make Nigeria great again. We must reflect on the courage and struggles of our heroes past and unite to lead this country on the path of sustainable growth,” he said.
Pam called on leaders at all levels to provide a level grounds for young people to contribute their quota to the quest for a better Nigeria
