The Speaker, Kwara House of Assembly, Mr Yakubu Danladi,

has called on Nigerians to pursue peace, unity and remain optimistic for a better Nigeria.

Danladi made the call in a message by his media aide, Sheriff Ibrahim, on Thursday in Ilorin, to mark the country’s 60th Independence  Anniversary.

He expressed hope that some of the challenges bedeviling the nation were surmountable through faith, prayers and political will.

The Speaker encouraged Nigerians to unite against corruption and insecurity among other problems facing the country.

Danladi, while congratulating  Nigerians for the journey so far, implored them to be steadfast and patriotic toward moving the Nation forward.
