Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman has made an honest confession ahead of Nigeria’s AFCON third-place playoff against Egypt on Saturday evening.
The Atalanta star said he was not thinking of the game because of the disappointment of the Super Eagles’ AFCON semi-final defeat to Morocco on Wednesday.
“To be honest, not really thinking about [Nigeria vs Egypt match], not really thought about that to be honest,” Lookman said at his post-match interview.
“Obviously, because of the disappointment of losing to Morocco.”
Lookman has scored three goals and registered four assists lat the AFCON, so far.
The former Everton star will hope to lead Nigeria to victory against the Pharaohs in Casablanca.
