Police investigate death of officer in Ekiti

Ado-Ekiti, Sept. 4, 2020 The Police Command in Ekiti has launched an investigation into the death of a policeman attached to Aramoko Division.

The deceased was said to have been hit by  a vehicle while on his way to work.

Mr Sunday Abutu, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, told newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on  Sunday that  investigation was on to ascertain the cause of the death of the policeman.

The News  Agency of Nigeria gathered that the unnamed policeman died as a  result of the injuries he sustained when he was hit on the Efon-Aramoko Ekiti Road on Saturday.
