The Ogun State Chairman of Riders And Owner Motorcycle Organisation (ROMO), Comrade Sotayo Olusola Rasak, has promised to support the Ogun State Government and other security agencies in fighting insecurity in the State.
Sotayo, popularly known as Sholebo disclosed this during the celebration of 61st independent day held at MKO Abiola stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He explained that Nigerians have all reasons to celebrate despite the challenges facing the country.
”Despite our challenges, Nigeria as a country deserves to celebrate its 61th Anniversary.
“We have faced a lot of challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, #EndSARS protest, Boko Haram, kidnapping and banditry, but we are still standing together as a country”.
He also called on the okada riders in the state to get their Riders Identification Card.
”It is a must for any okada rider in the state to have Riders identification card (ID card), as a means of identification and recognition. Any rider that fail to wear riders jacket and ID card will be dealt with.
He urged the people not to ride on any motorcycles that don’t have any means of identification.
Sholebo also congratulated President Muhammad Buhari, Governor Dapo Abiodun and other state governors on the 61st celebration of independence day.
