TMW – TNKAY Music Worldwide Set To Change Nigeria Music Industry

A fast growing music record label in Nigeria, TMW- TNKAY Music worldwide is coming into the Nigeria Music Industry with a big bang, the label chairman, Mrs Temmie Olabode has said.
The label, according to Olabode is set to change the face of the Nigeria Music Industry with innovations and the promotion of African culture and Heritage.
Speaking recently to journalists on the launch of the label, Olabode explained that music, being a serious business cannot be put aside, adding that music is a way of life and cannot be over emphasised in this contemporary days.
She stressed that, if properly managed, Nigeria entertainment industry is capable of generating enough revenue to run the country, insisting that, it was high time Nigeria divert from mono economy and over dependence on crude oil to other industries.
Olabode said, “Music business is a serious business and cannot be put aside.
“Entertainment industry is a business that generates value by providing people with something interesting to do. It is a form of activity that holds the attention or gives pleasure and delight to people.
“The global record music industry has recorded huge growth over the years. This rapid transformation of the music industry is through the innovation by record labels”.
The label boss noted that, winning the Grammy Awards by Burna boy and Wizkid is a great motivation for the music industry in the country.
She pointed out that, as a country that values cultural heritage, TMW will use influence as a label to promote African values, adding that it will focus on the Nigerian entertaining Industry for now.
While stressing that TMW- TNKAY Music worldwide will make the music industry in Nigeria stand out to an enviable height, she maintained that the label will further creates opportunities for serious talented artistes.
Meanwhile, TMW-TNKAY music worldwide just signed famous Artiste, Mr Ayoola Johnson, popularly called and appointed royal ambassador Barr. Habeeb Whyte as its Legal Adviser.
