Novak Djokovic Extends Perfect China Open Record to 30-0

Novak Djokovic maintained his unbeaten record at the China Open with a straight-sets victory over Portugal’s Nuno Borges on Wednesday.
The Serbian won 6-3, 7-6(2) to advance at the Beijing tournament after returning to the event for the first time in 11 years.
The victory extended Djokovic’s China Open record to 30 wins without a defeat. The 39-year-old, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, is seeking his seventh title at the tournament.
Djokovic will next face Chinese wild card Bu Yunchaokete, who defeated Argentina’s Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
Second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime was among the notable players eliminated, losing to Russia’s Karen Khachanov.
